Our dedicated construction team has over 40 qualified contractors covering all aspects of the building sector. Each specialist tradesperson has the highest qualifications and many years experience in their field. Consultation
Vision Building believes that getting the right advice at the very start is a vital step to save you time and money and ensure a successful build. Whether you have existing designs, or would like us to recommend architects or interior designers, we have the capability to help you realise your dreams, from the first moment you decide you would like to renovate your home, investment property or business. Every project begins with an onsite consult with our MD, Jason Cunningham who has over 30 years personal experience in the construction industry. At this meeting you will discuss objectives, plans, budgets and timing. As Jason has extensive experience in every aspect of a build, he can advise on design, council requirements and approximate budget and timeframe. This meeting is a valuable opportunity to understand how to move forward and potentially save a lot of time and money down the track. This initial meeting is charged at an hourly rate of $150+ GST and you should usually allow 1 to 2 hours. |

If you already have plans, following the initial consult we will be able to forward you a 30 day, no obligation quote that outlines the scope of works and the cost of the project.
Of course, many renovators have an idea of what they want to achieve, but can be overwhelmed by the different options available. Vision can help plan and design your project in line with your brief, your lifestyle and importantly, your budget. Sometimes, it may be too early in the design process to be definitive with quoting and we can recommend talented specialists that can assist you realise your vision before we move to quotation. In both circumstances, there is no obligation to appoint Vision and our quote is valid for 30 days. For all projects, if additional drawings are required for construction or council approvals, we have trusted specialists who can assist you and we will gladly liaise directly with any consultant on your behalf if you prefer. As we have extensive experience dealing with body corporate, strata managing agents and councils, means our project management includes assistance with submitting council documentation and attending any meetings to facilitate approval. |
Whether you are undertaking a simple make over in readiness for sale, a freshen up before moving into your new home or a complete renovation and extension, you can trust our team of experts to streamline the process and bring your vision to life.
Our pre-Construction assessment will have highlighted any foreseeable issues and streamlined the planning process. Before any work commences you will have been guided through the contract, and we will have organised the relevant HBCF Insurance (Home Building Compensation Fund formerly know as Home Warranty Insurance). During construction we perform ongoing best practice reviews, to ensure that work progresses smoothly, keeping you informed and involved. We will attend any meetings your designer may request as well as council inspections. If you have taken advantage of our design service we will work with you in choosing fixtures and fittings, such as tiles and taps. Our focus throughout is on delivering the highest level of personalised service that respects the unique characteristics and needs of every project. We understand that the process can be stressful for clients, and you may have concerns or questions, and we are committed to partnering you to ensure the experience is positive and fulfilling. We have a referral rate of over 85% for new business and many of our clients have worked with us on multiple products over many years. |
